With the eternally sweltering heat in Singapore, there are really only two things that can entice us to explore our island right now: Trying new food…and catching more Pokémon. Thankfully, these two things can easily go hand-in-hand.
Our finds for this week include juicy grilled octopus and delicate tea-infused choux puffs. Both are irresistibly delectable and will certainly fuel you up for a day of expanding your Pokédex.
Grilled Octopus by Bochinche

The Dish: Perfect for seafood lovers, this dish features succulent chunks of octopus — which are seared on a Spain-imported wooden charcoal grill — accompanied by pickled mussels, tangy black tomatoes and burnt onions.
The Place: Opened in 2013, Bochinche is known for its hearty Argentinean fare. It recently relocated to a chic new space along Amoy Street, and now offers a refreshed menu of dishes such as chorizo croquettes, eggs mimosa and empanadas stuffed with braised cuttlefish.
